As a software engineer at Aescape, you will play a vital role in creating the software and tools that drive their product. Your responsibilities include working on software engineering projects, data pipelines, machine learning, and building tools to support other teams.

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, implement software on the robot and cloud, and continuously explore and learn new methods to enhance data and machine learning capabilities.

To succeed in this role, Aescape is looking for individuals who are curious, have a clear sense of urgency and accountability, and are willing to take ownership of their work. They prefer candidates with at least 2 years of software development experience, expertise in Python and a compiled language (preferably C++), and experience with data pipelines, machine learning, and computer vision algorithms. Robotics and ROS experience, as well as prior CUDA development experience, are considered as nice-to-have but not required.
